LED Throwies are an iconic, DIY project that combine an LED, a battery and a rare earth magnet with a piece of tape to empower artists, hackers and everyday citizens to creatively augment their surroundings. Throwies were a global, viral hit. They have been seen by 10s of millions of people online and made by creative people in classrooms, protests and garages around the world.
